Charlene Kavulani, CPA, CCP, ICAAP brings over 15 years of experience in risk management, compliance, governance, and business transformation across financial services, banking, media, real estate, agribusiness, and healthcare. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Compliance Professional (CCP), and ICAAP-certified risk practitioner, she has held C-suite roles including Chief Risk Officer at Family Bank, Group Head of Risk, Compliance & Internal Audit at Centum Investment Company, and Chief Compliance Officer at an international fintech.

Through her advisory practice, Charlene has structured and successfully closed deals over KES 9.7 billion (USD 75 million) for Kenyan businesses, including a landmark USD 25 million valuation and capital raise transaction in April 2026 — while packaging investment-ready proposals for DFIs, commercial banks, and strategic investors.

At Strategix Capital, Charlene serves as Senior Investment Advisor, strengthening transaction advisory and risk structuring, and helping clients build bankable, compliance-ready deals that meet the rigorous standards of global financiers. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Kenyatta University.
