Lydia Schot

Lydia leads renewable energy and infrastructure finance advisory at Strategix Capital. With over 25 years of experience in renewable energy development and finance across Europe and Africa, she combines her background as Director of offshore wind projects for utilities such as RWE with senior leadership roles, including Director of Business Development at Globeleq and Manager at IFC's InfraVentures early equity fund.

Lydia has led the development of large-scale offshore wind projects valued at over $1.2 billion, managing multi-disciplinary teams and building strategic consortia of industrial and financial players to secure successful market entry and project delivery.

In Africa, she has directed early-stage project development and equity investments for independent power producers, bringing both project origination expertise and investor perspective to structure finance in challenging markets. Her dual track record in European utility-scale developments and African IPP renewable markets enables her to catalyse substantial investment for the energy transition operations across three countries.
