Ronald Jaggwe
Ronald Jaggwe is a seasoned investment banking executive with over 18 years of experience in Corporate and Investment Banking, with deep expertise in financial modelling, project finance, private equity sourcing, complex debt structuring, and innovative financing solutions. He has held senior leadership roles in major regional and international banks in Uganda, including Standard Bank, Barclays Bank (ABSA), DFCU Bank, and United Bank for Africa, where he led the Corporate and Public Sector Unit. Before joining Strategix Capital Limited, Ronald provided oversight leadership to CredMan Capital Limited and also served as Executive Director at Mercantile Credit Bank, where he spearheaded institutional transformation and growth.
Ronald is a career banker and distinguished for structuring and negotiating landmark regional transactions, including a syndicated $120 million project finance facilities for a specialized healthcare institution and a USD 50 million trade finance transaction in the Oil and Gas sector.
He holds an MSc in Development Economics from Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi and a BSc in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University (UK), alongside postgraduate qualifications in Advanced Corporate Credit Skills Development and Management. Ronald is also an alumnus of Strathmore Business School and the Graduate School of Cape Town, where he completed the CEO Apprenticeship and Board Governance programs.
